Last week Velox Innovation held an open forum discussion in "fishbowl" format which engaged a cross section of Auckland innovators. The group were asked to share insights, frustrations, and issues they saw with innovation.

The 'fishbowl' style session saw five chairs placed in the middle of the room, with attendees asked to take up places on four of the chairs (the fifth chair left empty). Conversation focused around kiwi innovation was then discussed between only the four seat holders, with the rest of the room listening.

When an attendee from outside of the circle felt compelled to enter the conversation, they would take up an empty fifth chair, and an existing member of the circle would leave. The format allowed for many members of the event to share their insights and experiences.

Most of these events are in planning stages for not only Auckland but the other major centres too. If you would like to be involved in any way, please don't hesitate to contact us.
